Norton Lilly Logistics (NLL) can provide a comprehensive range of Import and Export International Ocean Freight Services. Our approach is straight forward and customer focused. We will evaluate your requirements, listen to your needs, and then find the most effective freight solution for you.
FCL ( Full Container Loads ) :
Containers are supplied for your exclusive use, door to door, for each shipment. Our container services are available between most major ports around the world and NLL can make all necessary arrangements for you on a door to door basis.
Specialized equipment is available to accommodate most cargo, including flat racks, open top and temperature controlled containers.
LCL ( Less than Container Loads ) :
For shipments of less than a full container load, NLL can offer customers the benefits of consolidated cargo services between most major industrial centers of the world.

Our Project Cargo staff has successfully completed complex door to door moves for an array of companies, including those involved in underwater recovery, construction, engineering, mining, and oil & gas projects. We partner with our customers to create and implement custom-tailored solutions for all of your project cargo needs. We can arrange for the shipment of out of gauge cargos by sea to most global destinations.
Out of gauge
Out of gauge cargo such as yachts, wings, small aircraft, special machinery and architectural fittings can be shipped globally as required. Specialist packing is undertaken and a suitable aircraft identified from either scheduled or chartered services.
Heavy Lift
Heavy items such as machinery, vehicles and materials will require specialist lifting equipment and handling expertise which can all be arranged as required.
NLL Brokerage, LLC provides clearance for your import cargo at any Customs Port across the United States. Using the latest technology, NLL Brokerage ensures the necessary information is provided to Customs and OGA’s and arranges deliveries to your final destination. NLL Brokerage strives to make your import shipments go smoothly.
NLL Brokerage offers the below services to support your import/export business:
ISF Filing – File your Importer Security forms
- Customs Clearance – Ocean or Air
- Continuous Bonds – Assist you with obtaining
- Duty Drawbacks – File for reimbursement of Duties paid
- AES Filing – File your information with the US Census Bureau
U.S. Customs and Border Protection CBP requires an Importer Security Filing (ISF) 24 hours prior to vessel loading at foreign ports. The Importer Security Filing consists of 10 data elements from U.S. importers and 2 data elements from carriers.
NLL can handle the ISF 10+2 Filing for you.
- Forwarding – The selection of land, air, or ocean carriers requires extensive knowledge of cargo requirements, trade lanes, and cargo carriers. NLL is well versed in this knowledge. Our experienced staff considers the components of speed, equipment needs and competitive rates to select a transport solution that satisfies the needs of you and your customers
- Ability to compare customer pricing with NLL contracts to insure the customer receives best rate/transit time available.
- Our “My Track” tracking system provides visibility that is supported by both carrier EDI connectivity and internal event status updates. This enables customers to gain full supply chain visibility without having to rely on multiple carriers’ sites.
- Documentation – NLL will provide you with a documentation package sized to fit your requirements. It can be as simple as a bill of lading or may include commercial invoices, packing lists, certificate of origins and more. We will prepare all your documents to have all of the required elements to satisfy US Export regulations.

Kevin L Filliater received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia in 1985. After graduating, Kevin began his 15 year container shipping career in Charleston, SC and held various positions for three of the largest steamship lines in the world, focusing on developing global account strategies for Fortune 100 companies. During his career Kevin has negotiated contracts on behalf of ocean carriers, OTI’s, and major shippers around the world. In 2000 he left the ocean carrier industry and began his new career of working on behalf of non-asset based companies, including two multi-billion dollar NVOCC’s. Kevin has spent a majority of his career in the New York metropolitan area developing relationships with steamship lines, truckers, railroads, terminal operators and several major importers and exporters in the Northeast. In 2010, he was named Vice President-Sales and Marketing for Norton Lilly Logistics domiciled in New Jersey.
Andres has been with Norton Lilly since 2017. Prior to joining Norton Lilly, Andres held various management positions in Sitrans, the Logistic Division of Ultramar Group in Chile, mainly related with Supply Chain, Container Depots and latest as Director of Mining Logistics Division of Sitrans. Previously, he worked in the Logistic & Courier Division of LATAM Cargo Airline holding different positions in Chile and Argentina. Andres holds both a BS in Business Administration from Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago and an MBA degree from IE Business School in Madrid. Andres is responsible for the Logistics Companies of Norton Lilly as well as responsible for the Agency Business of Norton Lilly in the Caribbean and Central America. Andres resides in Fairhope, AL with his family.
